Perfect location with beautiful views. We lucked out and had the whole back yard outdoor space to ourselves. Host was very accommodating and responsive to any questions. Will be our preferred location to stay in Sedona if we ever visit again.

As always, this place is amazing. I love everything about it…the hosts, the location, the views…absolutely amazing. Thank you guys for sharing your space and Finn with us once again. We hope to be back soon!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the red canyon retreat. The backyard was absolutely stunning & we enjoyed Finn the dogs company! Location was a bit out of the main touristy part of Sedona but didn’t mind the easy & scenic drive to and from. Plenty of restaurants/things to do close by. Karen, Mike, & Kat were all very friendly & accommodating. Instructions made check in/check out a breeze & very easy to find. Definitely would recommend a stay with them!

Karen and Mark are not only super Hosts, they are professional, kind and funny! The Retreat was beyond our expectations and incredibly breathtaking. Clean, peaceful, private with a great eye for detail inside and out. Kat was a huge help with local recommendations and on site help. We not only stayed in an incredible Retreat, we made beautiful friends!

A beautiful place to relax after hiking. South of the main downtown area by about 25 minutes, but very close to other fabulous restaurants, coffee shops etc. Karen and Kat were excellent communicators. Everything was really delightful- we LOVED the back yard, pool and hot tub. I highly recommend considering this place for your next trip.

The retreat was very peaceful. The pool and hot tub were nice after hiking during the day. Location was close to hiking trails. Would do again!

We had a fantastic stay at Karen’s and Mark’s place! You can see that they have put a lot of effort in making you feel like home. From beautiful backyard, to a bbq and a hot tub, you have everything you need to relax and recharge after a long day of hiking. And of course Finn, their dog, is absolutely adorable and will invite you to play like you are his best friend.

Karen and Mark were great hosts :) They were so great to talk to and made you feel right at home. Their dog Finn is the best! He is so friendly and a great addition to the stay. The gardens are truly amazing. I could vacation in the gardens, throw some steaks on the traeger, jump in the salt water pool, and never leave the air b and b. It’s a home base like no other. We will def be back again!!

Karen's place was an Oasis in the middle of Sedona. The backyard looked like something out of a magazine. From the pool to the hottub to the warm peaches ready for the picking, the backyard left nothing to be desired. The best part, though, was Finn, their puppy. We were always greeted with a wagging tail and a ball to throw.The inside was stocked with everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing.Karen was kind and thoughtful. She had excellent suggestions for food and hikes. The caves are a must do.The location is close to all the great hikes. You can be at the most popular trails within 10-15 minutes of leaving.I can't say enough about how great the Retreat was. I hope we are fortunate enough to go back.

My husband and I just spent a week at Karen and Mark’s place, it was one of the top Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed. The listing is exactly as described and the property is more beautiful than the pictures. Karen was extremely helpful with any questions I had both before we arrived and when we were there. Although the weather was very hot the space was cool and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool each afternoon after being out and about. The space was clean, well decorated, and inviting. We very much enjoyed our time in Sedona thanks in part to Karen and Mark’s hospitality. I highly recommend Red Canyon Retreat, it’s a very special place.

Quiet and efficient. Great yard and grounds though we had no time to enjoy it - spent as much time out hiking as possible. Karen and Mark were friendly and helpful - a great source of local information.

Oh where do I begin! our stay could not have been more perfect. Karen and Mark are both very hospitable, friendly, thoughtful, and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent back yard as well as the company of Finn. The entire space was very comfortable but the bed was like sleeping on clouds. We will absolutely visit again.The Village of Oak Creek is a fantastic location to base your stay in. I am very happy we did not pick a place right in Sedona. There are so many places to go in every direction from there without the hassle of traffic. FOOD! All the restaurants were very satisfying and ranged in price from typical to very expensive. I did review them.

The place was perfect. Karen and Mark are such gracious people. Interacting with them was a treat. They were very hospitable, and they had the best local recommendations. The back yard is hard to capture in photos—it’s just beautiful, serene and special. Loved our stay.

Our stay at Karen and Mark’s was the BEST experience we’ve had with an AirBnB. The listing was exactly as pictured and described, had helpful amenities, was beautiful and clean, and Karen was very responsive any time I messaged her with a question. Their backyard is GORGEOUS and was the perfect place to spend the evening after a day of hiking in the desert. Karen greeted us on arrival and gave us helpful suggestions for where to hike, how to avoid the crowds and traffic, and places to eat and visit. Both Karen and Mark were friendly and made us feel at home throughout the experience. The hosts and the home were beyond perfect on their own, but our stay also came with the added bonus of playing with their adorable dog, Finn! Every time we travel we miss our pups so much, so getting to play fetch with Finn and give him snuggles was truly a gift. I would have been content to stay in their backyard and play with Finn and cool off in the saltwater pool the whole stay. Book this :)

Karen was a excellent host! She and her husband were always there to answer any questions and they were interested in you as a person. The place was perfect to come back to after a long hike and soak in the hot tub, enjoy the view, and cook out on the grill. I would highly recommend this place to everyone that want a great place to stay!

Karen was super helpful with the retreat as well as recommendations. It was very clean, the backyard is an oasis by itself and their sweet dog Fin was a treat!

It was a great place! Karen and Mark were great! It came with a dog! What else would we need? Karen’s response time was always fast. We had everything that we needed, and they gave us great suggestions on hikes and restaurants.

The stay at Karen and Marks retreat was awesome! We had a great time and our dog Zoey, loved it also! The only suggestion would be to have access to watch the news channels for traveler's.

We loved our stay at Karen and Mark‘s place in Village of Oak Creek. Great walkability to hiking trails, restaurants, and shops. Also an easy drive to uptown Sedona with a lot of attractions. Karen, Mark, and lovely Finn, (their sweet lab) were great and we look forward to returning in the future!

Our stay at Mark and Karen’s retreat was splendid. The retreat was lovely, and the bed was so comfy! The outdoor hot tub was a wonderful way to end a day of hiking and exploring Sedona! However, the best thing about the retreat was Karen and Mark’s friendly welcome! These two are really super hosts! We highly recommend a stay at their Airbnb! It’s one of the best that we have ever stayed at!

Perfect location south of Sedona for accessing all the surrounding areas. We loved the cozy space and the backyard oasis is really neat and relaxing. Karen gave us great ideas for area hikes and 4x4 trails and the guidebook they provide has even more. It was nice having the sweet pup Finn to play with, he’s a good boy. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a really lovely time at Karen's Airbnb. It was exactly as listed and had all the amenities we required for our 5 day stay, the hot tub was particularly welcome after a long hike! Karen was really helpful, she gave us some excellent advice on where to hike and where to eat and went above and beyond to tell us about the opening times for local restaurants on Christmas Day. A very special stay, thank you Karen!

We truly enjoyed our retreat...hightlights included our BEAUTIFUL and peaceful neighborhood near Oak Creek shops & restaurants, the hot tub, our cozy and elegant rooms, and Karen's gracious, warm and dedicated hosting.

Karen and Marks place is great. They are very good people. I asked for some recommendations on a few hikes and restaurants. Karen was helpful with ideas. Their house and backyard are gorgeous and has amazing views. When I go back to Sedona again I will be staying here for sure. Loved it!

Karen and Mark's place is amazing! The studio was perfect for us in every way. They've thought of everything - it's very well stocked and so cute! Karen was incredibly helpful, responsive, thoughtful and kind. There's a great hot tub and pool - and an added bonus of Finn- the sweetest pup around! If we're back in Sedona, we will definitely stay here again!

A lovely setting with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The location is terrific, near awe inspiring hikes, great restaurants and shopping Karen was friendly and caring with lots of great suggestions -- we went on all her recommended hikes and they were truly memorable. The accommodations are thoughtfully and comfortably furnished and though an adjunct to the garage, the window provides light and a nice view. All told, it was one of the best we've stayed in.

My wife and I loved our stay at the Red Canyon Retreat. We enjoyed spending time in the beautiful backyard and the unit was well equipped and very comfortable!

Airbnb was incredibly clean. The bed was comfy. I enjoyed the location being in the south side of Sedona close to hiking, there as still near by restaurants and shops but with out the traffic. The hosts were really helpful, very knowledgeable about the area you could just show up and they will tell you all the best places to go.

We loved the stay and Finn made it really fun.Didn’t expect to be a room made from a spare garage but still was very cute. It was just like the pictures. The views were amazing out by the back yard. Karen was very nice and very helpful with anything we needed or asked about for around town.

The most peaceful and relaxing place we have ever stayed. So much thought and care was given to make the place so perfect. We had absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was so comfortable. The room was spotless when we arrived. The backyard was unbelievably gorgeous! Karen and Mark took their time to give us the best advice for hikes, scenic drives and restaurants. Hands down they are the best hosts ever!

I was sad we were only able to stay one night. We arrived late and couldn’t see the lay of the land very well because of the dark sky thing which is awesome. So we were delighted to wake up to absolutely stunning views. The space is cozy, immaculate and very clever. I highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Karen's Red Canyon Retreat! The studio was clean and very comfortable. The backyard with amenities was relaxing, with a gorgeous view of the red rocks. Karen was very helpful; making brochures available for great sites to see, answering questions, and showing us places on the map that we wanted to visit. The studio was also a close proximity to so many great restaurants and shops. Karen, Mark and Finn were great hosts!!

They are around if needed but give plenty of privacy if desired. Location is short/easy drive to center of Sedona. Their location is short drive or brisk walk to shops/restaurants in Village of Oak Creek. Do not hesitate booking if place meets your needs. We’ll be back…

This place was a dream! My best friend and I celebrated our birthday in Sedona and stayed at Karen and Marks and it was perfect. They were so incredibly nice and welcoming, super helpful with sharing secrets of Sedona. The little studio was perfect for us and the back yard was seriously stunning. Finn, the lab was a sweet addition and welcomed us back every night after hiking. We are already planning a trip back!!!

We loved our stay at Karen’s place- I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The room we stayed in was so clean and comfortable, and had binders with recommendations of places to and restaurants to eat at. Karen was gracious enough to show us around the house upon our arrival and answer any questions. Her backyard was a true oasis, and my husband and I loved having the pool and the hot tub to relax in. Plus the view of red rocks was amazing! The house is perfectly located closed enough to restaurants and beautiful views in the area, and only about 20 minutes from uptown Sedona. We truly enjoyed our time there and hope to come back in the future and spend more time in Sedona!

Karen and Mark are wonderful hosts. The Red Rock Retreat is a perfect spot for two. The space is quaint but filled with any amenities you may need. The backyard oasis is a true gem. Not to mention their sweet dog Finn who insists on ball throwing if you decide to hang out back there. It was our first time leaving our daughter and we couldn’t have selected a more welcoming, comfortable and beautiful space. Both hosts were so helpful with recommendations of trails, restaurants and bars. We hope to be back again!

Yowza! Where to even BEGIN raving about this magical nest??? First of all, I wanna give props to Karen and Mark for being the absolute nicest people and most gracious hosts of all time. It’s such a pleasure to be able to connect on a personal level when renting a spot and we just couldn’t have enjoyed their company more, when our paths grazed. The room itself was completely inviting and comfortable with every amenity you could ask for and more. Tastefully decorated, and there were so many thoughtful touches that we felt completely pampered. Additionally, it was the cleanest, freshest Airbnb I’ve ever been in. Everything was simply immaculate and it was a serious delight not to have to contend with any poison air “fresheners” or anything like that. The grounds are simply unbelievable. Impeccably designed and so pleasing to the eye. The pool and waterfall were so gorgeous and refreshing, while on the upper terrace, the stunning lily pond was its own beautiful work of art. We did manage to take advantage of the fabulous outdoor grill facilities, which were stocked with all the necessary accoutrements. The hot tub is heavenly as well, complete with groovy color-changing lights. I mean, seriously, every last detail of this heavenly haven is just top-notch and executed with such class. I know Sedona is a place where people like to get out and have adventures but with this gorgeous oasis at your disposal, it’s a pleasure to just kick back and relax all day. Last, but certainly not least, the very best perk of all was my fuzzy man Finnykins. I absolutely fell in love with the fabulous Finn and my heart aches a little right now, just missin’ on his sweet self! I definitely plan on returning to this wonderful spot in the future and that day can’t come soon enough. Thanks again to the whole crew for such a wonderful week and I wish you all the best.

I highly recommend this place ! It was in a great location and the yard was so nice to relax in. Karen provided great recommendations of things to see that would be less busy so that was great. Would stay here again ! The suite had everything you need and the bed was super comfortable.

The Red Rock Retreat was such a great experience and stay! Karen and Mark’s backyard is a true oasis- I miss it already! The retreat is the perfect spot for 1-2 visitors and has everything you need. We felt comfortable enjoying all parts of the backyard, and loved having Finn waiting at the door each day to play some fetch.The retreat is connected to the garage connected to Karen and Mark’s home. We felt comfortable using the backyard and all it had to offer, and pretty much felt like we had full privacy.Inside the retreat is a binder with tons of information on trails, restaurants, and other activities to participate in on your stay. And you’re a quick 15-20 minute drive to the heart of Sedona.RRR is a special place and we’d highly recommend.

Karen’s place is the perfect oasis for a relaxing vacation away with amazing views of the red rocks. We enjoyed our mornings with coffee by the pool, playing ball with Finn. Then we were close enough to all the hikes and sightseeing we wanted to do. Karen and Mark were so thoughtful in all their recommendations of activities and attractions. We have wanted to visit Sedona for a long time and couldn’t have chosen a better spot to enjoy our 6 days there! Can’t wait to come back again!

We cannot recommend Karen and Marks Airbnb enough! Awesome location to restaurants, wineries, hiking trails, and downtown Sedona. Karen has great recommendations for things to do in the area and is so responsive. Their backyard is absolutely beautiful and is such a calming place to relax and play with Finn!

The pictures do not do this place justice. Such a nice, clean place to stay. I felt very safe and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were amazing! I’m not a good sleeper when I travel but the bed was so comfy that I slept like a rock every night! Karen was very helpful and informative. Finn is such a good doggy and loved playing ball. Karen and Mark both are very nice, down to earth people.

This space is wonderful! Very clean, comfortable, great art, beautiful bathroom, and wonderful grounds in the back yard. Be aware that the pump for septic system is quite loud but it doesn’t stay on for long.

We loved our stay here. It was amazing to find such a quiet, peaceful place away from the crowds in Sedona. The outside space was amazing. The beautifully landscaped area had everything: a hot tub, a pool, a view, beautiful plants, birds and even wind chimes. The inside accommodations were beautifully decorated and also convenient with plenty of places to put everything. When we booked it, it said rare find and it certainly was.

We loved it in every way! It was close to so much and it has become my favorite trip we've ever done! Mark and Karen are absolutely amazing, very kind and helpful! Definitely would recommend it for your Sedona getaway!

One more thing: Before we ever checked into the Red Canyon Retreat went into Sedona and were caught off guard by the traffic. This was a great stay close to tons of hiking and biking trails. A few restaurants and bars close by (3 min car ride or 15 minute walk). The backyard area is unbeatable! Karen and Mark had so many great recommendations for everything Sedona. Hope to return soon
